Fashionable ladies’ pants – part 2. Ultra maxi pants.

By  |  0 Comments

We continue our journey into the land of fashionable pants and this time, we’d like to bring to your attention another trend of this year – ultra long pants. We’ll even go as far as calling them “ultra maxi long” pants since the way to wear pants this year is to cover everything, and we mean EVERYTHING: no toe, not even a peak of a toe peeping from under the loooooooooooong fabric.

If you’d like to discuss the practical side of wearing such pants, we, uhhhm, won’t go there. Fashion is about beauty after all, and also about beauty prevailing logic and practicality. The architectural aesthetics of these long trousers will help you overcome any fears and hesitations especially considering how spectacularly stylish you will look in such pants.

The designer collections of spring/summer 2016 are abundant with a variety of ultra long pants, and since FashionWomanMedia is all about fashion, we’ll start with the hottest looks of the season.

Your maxi pants need to be long enough and wide enough to completely cover your high heel shoes or platforms. They make an ideal combination with a tunic or a suit, especially in snow white color!

Whether the pants are tight or loose, is not a crucial point, the most important thing – they need to reach the floor. Wide maxi pants are also in fashion and same rules apply: straight pant that completely covers your Louboutins.

If you prefer comfort, try one of these looks below. There is something about the way these pants fall at the bottom, almost creating a train like in an evening gown. Definitely a stylish look, but not as raving and elegant as the one with high heels.
