Holiday season is in full swing, and this time we’ve prepared a very special review for you – our top picks of fashion color trends for autumn/winter 2016! We included the best choices from designer collections, must-haves and finest looks. We promise, it will be beautiful and will be worth it.

In order to bring some order to this multitude of colors and hues, we created a ranking out of top seven, that we believe are the absolute hit of the season. For each of the colors you’ll see our selection of the most elegant and exquisite looks from various designers, as well as get advice on how to wear and combine all this beauty.

Naturally, we start with our first pick. Drum roll… And the number one goes to… Luscious and succulent deep blue-green (1) with all its shades from green emerald to blue turquoise. To represent this color we chose a coat by a young and very talented New York designer (former boxing champion!) Nellie Partow.

This hue is indeed opulent, especially in heavy fluid fabrics with noble shine. This metallic shimmer imparts a cold feeling, that instantly adds richness and glamour to your look.

Orange (2) takes the second place in our ranking of fashion colors of 2016. To be more precise, we are talking about the orange palette, the nuances from the most succulent red-orange to tender amber. It’s a real piece of sunshine in your wardrobe and a pick-me-up on a cold gray winter day.

Bright blue (3) and it’s three trendiest tones: royal blue, electric blue and ultramarine, take the third place in our ranking of fashionable colors. Bright blue in its various manifestations remain in vogue for a long time. This color is intense, prickly cold and sticky, it won’t be leaving the podiums any time soon.

DKNY coat in this color is a must-have of the season (we also recommend you to check out a fur coat by Issey Miyake, it’s beyond belief!)

Purple and violet (4) are no longer the latest thing, nevertheless they still made it to FWM ranking of fashionable colors, and took the honorary forth place. Why did we include them at all? The thing is, these colors create excellent background accents, and you can choose from a variety of accessories to add to your outfit: purse, belt, scarf, kerchief, gloves. We recommend Bally bag from their autumn collection; your wardrobe will definitely benefit from this purchase.

Let’s move on to number five, aristocratic deep blue color (5). This color is even more opulent this autumn/winter season. It was really difficult to pick the best from  the designer collections for you, since this color is truly exquisite in fabrics, fur, suede and other materials. Our choice fell on incredibly talented Katie Ermilio. You’ll also fall in love with these delicious pieces!

Dark red or maroon (5) and it’s beautiful rich shadows of branded cherry, bordeaux and burgundy are at fifth place in FWM ranking of trendy colors. Forgive us for the abundance of alcohol, it is a festive season after all! 😉 Today, it’s popular to call this color “marsala”, and this shade was named by Pantone the most fashionable color of autumn 2015. Ah, it’s so delicious! Let’s make a small break for a glass of … well, anything you choose and have a look at what we chose from the designer collections in maroon.

Delicate pink (7). You didn’t expect this one, did you? Nevertheless, a powder pink coat is a must-have in your wardrobe this winter. If you haven’t purchased one yet, we highly recommend you do so, as this trend will linger, and you’ll still look chic and fashionable next year.
